2017Audi RS3 Sedan: Facelifted Fleet with New Engine
The 2017 Audi RS3 Sedan makes the most interesting new addition to the lineup, even though the automobile company has just updated the A3 and S3 models only recently. Unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the RS3 Sedan won’t be the mirror of the regular RS3 Sportback that has already made available. What’s under the hood will be the main highlight with the new 2017 Audi RS3 Sedan, featuring the new 2.5L turbo 5-cylinder. The engine cranks out a total output of almost 400 horsepower, easily surpassing the 375-hp Mercedes-AMG CLA45 4MATIC. The engine is set to be paired with a DQ500 7-speed dual-clutch automatic to distribute the power generated to all of its four wheels with top speed ranges from 155 to 174 mph, depending in the options and market.
Inside the 2017 Audi RS3 Sedan, you will be welcomed by the gorgeous Nappa leather seats designed with sporty feel and look in mind. Apart from that, there will be the RS Sport steering wheel, digital virtual cockpit instrument display, and Audi Connect for internet connectivity. The sports seats are designed with built-in head restraints, although this feature comes as an option. The sedan will ride on the 19-inch alloy wheels.
2017 Audi RS3 Sedan Price and Release Date
There is still no official information released yet about when the new 2017 Audi RS3 Sedan will be finally available on the market. Even so, according to sources, it is said that the company will roll the RS3 Sedan to the U.S. market as the 2018 model year, meaning that it will take place some time in 2017. The price thus isn’t available yet, but we can expect that it’ll be $70,000-ish.
